General:
If the student is late to the lesson, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. If the teacher is late, a makeup time will be given.
The teacher keeps the right to terminate the lesson enrollment if necessary (ex. students cancel lessons too often or show little commitment to practice...etc.). The rest of the tuition will be refunded.
If students withdraw from enrollment in the middle of a month, the rest of tuition is not refundable.
We manage lesson schedules on My Music Staff. Once the lesson time is confirmed and we receive your Policy Agreement, the login information will be sent to you.
By signing the policy agreement, you consent and authorize SW piano studio to capture, use, reproduce, and distribute images, video, and audio recordings of yourself or your child’s musical performance for promotional and educational purposes.
Concert Attendance Requirement:
Students are required to attend 1 concert performed by professional, classical musicians per semester. Failure to meet this requirement will be treated as a violation of other established policies
Invoice:
Monthly payment based on the weeks. Due on every 1st day of the month. An invoice will be sent 7-8 days before the due date. $25 late fee will apply for payments made after the due date.

Cancellation Policy:
3 Makeups + 1 Free Cancellation per semester
Cancellation and Registration deadline is 24 hours prior to the lesson time.
Cancellations made BEFORE the deadline will automatically receive a makeup credit. This credit allows you to register for a makeup slot corresponding to the duration covered by your credit. The credit is good to use within 30 days.
45 and 60-minute lessons:
Your lesson will be shown as “<name>, Lesson 60” on the calendar. When you want to register for a makeup lesson, you may use your makeup credit to register for any available “Lesson 60” slot on the calendar, or alternatively, two “Lesson 30” slots.
30-minute lessons:
Your lesson will be shown as “<name>, Lesson 30” on the calendar. When you want to register for a makeup lesson, you may use your makeup credit to register for any available “Lesson 30” slot on the calendar.
In the event that your credit remains unused, there will be no provision for refunds or deductions.
Cancellations made AFTER the deadline will be marked as absent with no makeup credit.
Maximum 3 makeups per semester. After 3 cancellations, any further cancellations will be automatically noted as absent without generating makeup credits. Additionally, please be aware that canceling a makeup lesson also counts as one cancellation.
1 Free Cancellation Credit:
No charge or makeups needed. It can be used on any occasion-- vacation, sickness, or any emergencies. Once the free cancellation credit is used, no second one or exception can be made.
If the teacher cancels a lesson, a makeup credit or tuition deduction will be given.
While we endeavor to provide makeup lessons, their availability is subject to openings on the calendar. Please note that makeup lessons are not guaranteed but can be scheduled on the MMS when there is an opening.
Holidays:
Studio Holidays are posted on “My Music Staff” and may be slightly different every year. No lesson is scheduled on the studio holidays.
Summer Session Policy:
During the summer session, students can cancel lessons up to 4 times at no cost and keep the lesson slot, but the absence dates need to be informed before the invoice is generated. After an invoice is generated, please follow our cancellation/rescheduling policy.
The summer session dates vary slightly every year.
